We haven't been working together the whole time.
[So it's possible Alexei assumed he died. It's possible that he really did mean it, that Raven was the only one - because he was the only one still around. It wasn't exactly the truth, but it wasn't precisely a lie either; he didn't stick around for any longer than was absolutely necessary. The moment he could move was the moment he escaped, and he didn't look back.]
Still, you'd think it would be important information for you to have... particularly when we were in the same area.
[While he may find fighting over a box hilarious, he doubts Raven shares that sentiment!!!]
Anyway, he likely has his reasons for keeping secrets, whatever those may be. I'm certain whatever he has to say about me won't be particularly kind, but I don't really care. Feel free to ask him whatever you'd like.
